Mission
The concept of storytelling has always been an integral part of human society. Whether written or orally spoken, the ideas presented through words have defined everyone from the smallest individual to entire ethnicities and cultures. All of human history is marked by multitudes of examples of the power of words, from "Give me liberty or give me death!" to "It is finished!" Nations rise and fall through the working of words, the course of entire civilizations can be altered by just a single phrase, and with words, we create worlds within our own.

The power of words shouldn't come as a surprise, nor should they be underestimated. After all, our immaculate universe was created in an instant through the uttering of words. The point? What you say matters. What you speak to others, how you communicate the aspects of your worldview to them, has tremendous consequences often beyond what you can imagine. So when you speak, what you say had better mean something. Something with both value and truth. At the end of time, all will be judged for their words.

Storytelling is the act of presenting ideas in words designed to have an effect on those who hear it. But over the centuries, as the number of authors and stories continues to grow, fiction storytelling has largely departed from its roots and consequentially often fails to impact readers in a positive way. Today, most books are devoid of any meaningful purpose of being written, as authors continue to back away from making their work stand for anything eternally truthful or meaningful to avoid rejection. Without a clear, truthful stance taken by the author through their work, what they say provides little if no amount of inspiration and impact.

Conviction is the foundation for any great author, before the stories themselves are ever written. It is my goal in writing to make this conviction apparent to readers, to inform them accurately through the power of words about the world we live in, even by use of fiction. Fiction is not just about creating an escape from the real world, a peaceful refuge from life's worries. I create worlds and stories for the purpose of enabling and encouraging those who read them to respond to their worries and problems in such a way that will improve their own lives as well as those they touch. Whether the story takes you on the wings of dragons or to the darkest caverns of the earth, my aim is to inspire readers to grow in conviction and make decisions that will benefit their lives both here on earth and eternally.
About the Author
I began writing stories when I was twelve years old. It began with short stories, writing for fun, but my goal was always to one day write books. My passion for storytelling was developed at an early age by consuming tv shows, books, and movies as a kid. Rather than be mesmerized by cool fights and season-ending finales, I was more intrigued by what made some of those particular moments seem cooler and more entertaining to watch and read than others, and why I remembered certain characters the way I did. A fascination with how these stories ticked and the idea of storytelling is what led me to begin pursuing writing. As a fully self-taught author, all of my experience comes from writing and rewriting, and consuming great stories regularly.

Being invested in my favorite franchises and stories inspired me to make my own epic worlds, and at age 18, I completed my first book, The Gatekeeper: The War for Marroland. Along with its completion emerged my mission as a writer, and as of now, I am working on a number of stories in a variety of worlds and genres, some of which I hope to release soon.

My name is Strider Stoltenberg, I was born in 2003, and I am a Christian and self-published author currently residing in Jacksonville, Florida. I have other interests and goals besides being an author, such as becoming an accountant via full time college education and studying the history of the world and its cultures (some of which still translates into my writing). I also enjoy watching football (both kinds), and sometimes play video games, if they meet my story and character expectations. But above all my passions and interests, my commitment to serving God comes first, and my faith and trust in His Son.
